Giving to COC $5 ALIVE The American Cancer Society states men and women have about a 1 in 3 lifetime risk of developing an invasive cancer. Today, we all have a family member or friend directly affected by cancer. There are organizations that provide some help meeting the emotional and financial needs our loved ones; however, our loved ones also have expenses such as mortgage/rent and insurance payments, additional child care, credit card, cable or phone bills and other everyday bills that continue to mount which these organizations often do not, or cannot, assist with. Our country raises millions for cancer research and screening/treatment however when do we hear about money raised specifically to help those who experience emotional and financial hardship while in treatment? We don't. Christians Overcoming Cancer (COC) exists TO HELP THEM. Donating just $5 monthly can help a person on their road to recovery. $5 alone can do many things but collectively $5 can change the life of a person battling cancer. $5ALIVE!
